the first time i’ve heard about kaş from one of the yoga teachers in saint petersburg, russia, in 2021.

the first time i’ve visited it was in january 2023. and i have stayed in kaş for two months – february and march.

i’ve rented a 2-bedroom apartment with the terrace in Çerçiler – a district located uphill from the kaş downtown. Çerçiler is populated by locals, almost no tourists around. the apartment’s terrace has a magnificent seaview and gets filled by amazing light on sunset, when sun is going down hiding behind the islands in the sea, creating  beautiful gradients on the horizon and coloring the water and mountains into yellow-orangish tones.
